TRACI HANCOCK

Traci Hancock has worked with NSF SBIR/STTR grantees since 2009. Serving as the Executive Director of the Innovation Accelerator she assisted Phase I & II grantees with everything from creating effective elevator pitches and team building, to identifying potential strategic and funding partners and beyond. In 2014 she was brought on as a Consultant to the NSF IIP conference planning team, to focus her energy on identifying opportunities and building relationships between NSF grantees and technology scouts, potential investors and other groups and individuals through the annual “Industry Suite” activities at the SBIR/STTR Phase II Grantees Conference. When not working with NSF grantees, Traci is the Director of Maverick Innovations at the University of Nebraska at Omaha where she assists with commercialization strategies and teaches college students, early-stage entrepreneurs, and enterprise clients to use the Lean Methodology for validation of innovation concepts and scaling practices.
