Partnerships for Innovation: Building Innovation Capacity
The 2017 PFI:BIC Grantee Meeting has the following objectives:
- To provide a venue for the grantees to showcase their work to an audience that may include technology scouts. Technology scouts will have the opportunity to request one-on-one meetings with grantees.
- To share insights and best practices amongst current PFI:BIC grantees.
- To provide entrepreneurship educational opportunities for PIs and students.
- To provide an opportunity for PFI:BIC grantees to interact with and learn from staff and grantees from the SBIR program.
The BIC Grantee meeting is on Monday, June 5 – Wednesday, June 7 at the Marriott Marquis hotel in Atlanta, GA. The is held in parallel with the NSF SBIR/STTR Phase II and PFI:AIR Grantee Conferences. PFI:AIR and PFI:BIC grantees will participate in a few separate sessions and panels, but will also attend many sessions of the SBIR/STTR Conference, including the Technology Showcase and entrepreneurial education seminars.
