PFI GRANTEE PITCHES
There will be pitch training tailored for PFI grantee students and post-docs (faculty are also welcome!) on Monday afternoon. This will be followed by a student/post-doc pitch competition held in four sessions Tuesday. Pitches are to be given by the student or post-doc, and will be three (3) minutes or less in length. The exact format of the pitches will be covered in the PFI pitch training on Monday afternoon. Due to time constraints there are a limited number of opportunities to participate in the pitch contest. Students and post-docs will be asked if they would like to participate when they register for the meeting, and the opportunity will be offered based on a first come basis. Participating in the pitch contest is strongly encouraged! It is a good opportunity to practice a useful skill set in a supportive, low-risk environment. Winners will be announced Wednesday morning.
